Angel of the Forest
Resistant & Resilient
Homecoming
To the left is my work titled Angel of the Forest.
It placed first in the Lemur Conservation Foundation's 2021 World Lemur Festival Juried Art Exhibition.The digital art "is an exquisite rendering of one of the rarest and most beautiful animals on Earth - a silky sifaka. The stunning lighting in this piece creates an ethereal silky sifaka that glows as if imagining her ancestors' perfect home." -LCFTo the right is my work titled Resistant & Resilient.
This piece was created for Timber Wolf Alliance's 2023 Wolf Awareness Week. It was inspired by the gray wolves, which are now covered by the Endangered Species Act, in their natural habitat. It highlights the beauty of these creatures through their continuous survival.
Although this piece did not place, it was chosen as an additional feature piece for TWA's Wolf Awareness Week to be put on merchandise.Both of these pieces are special to me, as I have been an avid animal lover since I was born. Animal welfare, of all species, is something that I hold close to my heart. Through my art, I hope to advocate for all animals since they do not have the voices to speak up. I intend on highlighting more endangered species in future artwork to further this mission.
